(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Jeremiah Anderson has been named as the Golden State Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week in a row.

Anderson scored the game tying goal for the Warriors against The Master's in the 88th minute of Saturday's game. Anderson's moment came when a free kick was awarded to Westmont just outside of the box and to the right of the goal. He stepped up and ripped a shot with his left foot that went straight through the Mustang wall and settled in the back left corner of the net.

Warrior head coach Dave Wolf said, "I think the obvious thing is that we needed somebody to make a play in that game. Anderson was the one that did it. I think it was a day that just felt like we were second best.

"While I credit our guys for keeping the score aligned tight – we needed something special to win that game. Anderson delivered that with the free kick."

Wolf added, "The primary ingredient needed to do things like that is confidence. When attacking players have that ingredient then they are tough to handle. I think it's a good sign both for him and for our team – that you have somebody in your lineup that has both confidence and creativity."

Anderson now has four goals on the season, finding himself tied for the team lead in that category. His nine points are most for the Warriors this season.

Wolf said, "Anderson operates a little bit under the radar. He has an intensity to him, it's not as obvious, but when you get in big moments you see that rise to the surface."

Anderson and the Warriors are on the road this week facing William Jessup on Thursday and Menlo on Saturday. Those kickoffs are scheduled for 3:30 pm and 11:00 am respectively.
