Westmont College Athletics

Gabi Young is entering her third season training the Warrior goalkeepers at Westmont. Before joining the Westmont coaching staff, Gabi trained goalkeepers at Santa Barbara Soccer Club, where she developed a passion for helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.

Originally from Orange County, and previously known as Gabi Haw, Gabi was a four-year varsity goalkeeper for the Westmont Women’s Soccer team from 2017–2021. During her playing career, she earned GSAC Co-Player of the Year honors and was twice recognized as an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention. Gabi currently ranks fourth all-time in saves percentage in Westmont Women’s Soccer history.

Gabi graduated from Westmont in 2021 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. Having experienced the Warrior program firsthand as a student-athlete, she brings a unique perspective and deep connection to the team and the Westmont community.

Gabi currently lives in Carpinteria, California, with her husband. The two are excited to welcome a baby boy in September, adding a new little Warrior to the roster!
