(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Thorrington Field at Westmont will be the site of championship soccer this week as both the Warrior men's and women's soccer teams earned the right to host the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament.

The men's tournament is scheduled to begin on Wednesday with a semifinal match-up between second-seeded Menlo (12-4, 6-2 GSAC) and third-seeded Vanguard (12-5, 6-2) at 11:00 a.m. The Oaks and Lions tied for second in the GSAC standings, but Menlo was awarded the number two seed after defeating Vanguard on October 31.

The men's second semifinal game will feature Westmont (13-1-1, 7-0-1) hosting fifth-seeded OUAZ of Arizona (12-5-1, 3-4-1) at 1:30 p.m. The Warriors posted a 2-0 win over the Spirit at Thorrington Field, also on October 31.

The championship game for the men will be held on Friday, November 15 at 1:30 p.m.

The women's tournament kicks off on Thursday morning with second ranked Vanguard (11-2-2, 7-1) playing third-ranked The Master's (12-4-2, 6-2) in an 11:00 a.m. semifinal game. The Lions and Mustangs have not played each other since October 3 when the Lions prevailed 3-1 on their home field.

Westmont (13-2-1, 7-1) will play in the second semifinal game, taking on fourth-seeded OUAZ (13-6, 5-3). Game time is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The Warriors and Spirit tangled in the regular season on October 31 with the Warriors coming out on top 6-0.
