(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) The Westmont men's basketball team will not begin its season on Saturday as originally expected after a player on Saint Katherine, Westmont's scheduled opponent, tested positive for COVID-19.
Â
The two teams are hoping to reschedule the game, potentially for Nov. 21. Saint Katherine was also unable to play its scheduled game against Vanguard on Wednesday due to a positive COVID-19 test result.
Â
As of now, the next game on Westmont's schedule is an away exhibition matchup with NCAA Division I opponent Cal State Northridge on Nov. 25 at 4:00 p.m.
