(ROCKLIN, Calif.) Westmont women's tennis, ranked 14th in the NAIA, defeated William Jessup on Friday, 7-0, to win its second straight road match to start Golden State Athletic Conference play.

Ellie Johnson said. "In doubles, our players were in position and executed as practiced."

Rachal Jackson then won their matchup at number two, 6-1, defeating Stephanie Alsman and Karen Godinez-Ramos.

The visiting Warriors then won the four singles matches that were played, as Westmont also took victories at singles five and six by default.
Â
Pierson swept Hawkins at number one, winning both sets 6-0.
Sidney Lowry won at number two against Alsman, also winning 6-0 in each set.
