(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Westmont women's soccer already had its fall season postponed until the spring because of COVID-19. The Warriors' delayed start to the 2020 season is now pushed back even further, after Thursday's scheduled season opener against Fresno Pacific was postponed.
 
The game was called off because of heavy rain that is in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday, as well as the concerns over what the rain would do to the quality of the playing surface. The two teams hope to reschedule the game for next week.
 
With the postponement, Westmont's next scheduled game as of now is on Feb. 10 at 2:00 p.m. against Point Loma.
