(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Originally scheduled for last week at Thorrington Field, Westmont Women's Soccer has rescheduled its season opener to this Friday, February 5, at Fresno Pacific. Last week's rain made the change of date necessary.
 
Westmont is 11-1 all-time against the former Golden State Athletic Conference opponent, although the two teams have only played once since 2011. The Warriors won that match, which was played in Fresno, 2-1.
 
The Warriors have also scheduled a home game against Azusa Pacific on Monday, March 29. The Cougars are also a former GSAC team. Westmont holds a 23-14-5 record against Azusa Pacific. The last game was in September of 2018 with the Warriors prevailing 1-0.
