Warrior Soccer Reschedules Games

(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) This week's postponed men's and women's soccer games against San Diego Christian have been rescheduled for the beginning of April. The postponements were made necessary due to COVID-19 protocols.
 
The Hawks will make their way to Santa Barbara on Thursday, April 1 for a men's and women's doubleheader. Westmont will travel to Temecula on Tuesday, April 6 to match up with San Diego Christian at Galway Downs.
 
The Westmont woman are the NAIA's sixth-ranked team with an overall record of 2-2 and a Golden State Athletic Conference mark of 2-0. The Westmont men are ranked at number 12 in the NAIA with a record of 2-1 overall and 2-0 in GSAC play.
 
Both teams are anxious to continue their season in the Golden State Athletic Conference West with the hopes of qualifying for the GSAC Championship game. For both the men and women, the winner of the GSAC East and the winner of the GSAC West will meet for a single game to play for an automatic berth into the NAIA National Championship. For the women, the title game will be held on Saturday, April 10. The men's championship game will be on Saturday, April 17. Locations are to be determined.
 
Westmont Women's Soccer will travel on Monday to take on Biola in a non-conference match-up. Kick-off is set for 5:00 p.m.
 
The men's team is next scheduled to play on Thursday, March 18 at Vanguard as part of a men's and women's soccer doubleheader.
 
In keeping with COVID-19 mandates, no spectators will be admitted to these games.
