(FULLERTON, Calif.) Westmont Women's Tennis (2-4, 2-2 GSAC) swept Hope International (0-4) on Friday afternoon to improve to 2-2 in Golden State Athletic Conference play.

In doubles play, Westmont's
Cade Pierson and
Rachal Jackson recorded a 6-1 win over Samantha Paz and Christelle Haj on court number one. At number two doubles,
Sidney Lowry and
Christine Hemry notched a 6-2 victory over Phylicia Valdez and Anastasija Djordjevi. Westmont won the number three doubles match by default.

The closest of the singles matches was on the number one court where Pierson posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Paz. Jackson won at number two with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Djordjevi and Lowry defeated Valdez at number three 6-2, 6-1.

On the number four singles court, Hemry blanked Haj 6-0, 6-0 while at number five
Olivia Madarang defeated Lisanne Siebrecht 6-0, 6-2. Westmont won by default at number six.

The Warriors continue their road trip tomorrow with a match at GSAC opponent Saint Katherine (2-1).
