(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Next weekend, on Friday, September 16, and Saturday, September 17, Westmont Men's Soccer will celebrate the career of head coach Dave Wolf. Wolf, who began his tenure as head coach in 1991, has officially begun his 32nd and final year as head coach of the Warriors.

On Friday, September 16, at 4:00 p.m. Wolf's celebration will begin with a ceremony on Lovik Field. This event is public, and all are welcome to gather on the field where Wolf's teams have prepared for competition for over 30 years. At this ceremony, speakers honoring Wolf will include Westmont College President, Gayle Beebe, and Westmont Director of Athletics, Robert Ruiz, among others.

Parking for the event will be available on Lovik Field.

On Saturday, September 17, the Warriors will host Fresno Pacific on Thorrington Field at 12:00 p.m. This match will be the first time since 2015 that the longtime GSAC rivals will share the pitch.

During the match, Wolf and his family will be recognized in a halftime ceremony. Speaking during the ceremony will be Fresno Pacific's head coach, Jaime Ramirez, who began his tenure at the school in 1991, the same year Wolf began at Westmont.

Following the conclusion of the match, there will be an evening reception at 6:00 p.m. This is the lone event of the weekend that is private, with guests needing to RSVP to be included in the festivities. To RSVP to the event, click here.

The evening reception on Saturday, September 17, will be limited to 150 guests. At the moment of publication, less than 50 spots remain. There is no cost for the event.

Dave Wolf is the winningest coach in Westmont Men's Soccer history, entering his final campaign with 353 victories. Since 1991, the Warriors have won the Golden State Athletic Conference on nine occasions, and the GSAC Tournament on seven occasions, both as recently as 2020.
