(HONOLULU) Westmont Volleyball (8-11, 5-7 PacWest) took on the #16 Chaminade Silverswords (22-2, 10-2) on their home court and left McCabe Gymnasium with a three-set loss (25-18, 25-17, 25-21).

In the first two sets, Chaminade jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. In the third set, the Warriors kept even with the Silverswords through the early going. With the score tied at 10, however, Chaminade went on a 7-1 run to take control of the set.

Westmont tallied 32 kills in the contest, but also committed 27 attack errors, resulting in an attack percentage of just .050.

Nariah Prescott led the team with nine kills, while
Alexis Dennick posted Westmont's best attack percentage at .385 (seven kills). Dennick also had one solo block and two block assists.

The Warriors conclude their trip to the 50th state tomorrow when they take on the Sharks of Hawai'i Pacific at 7:00 p.m. local time (10:00 p.m. PDT).
