(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Westmont Men's Basketball alumni are now just 10 days away from the opportunity to gather at their old stomping grounds, and reminisce on the good ol' days while watching the Warriors in action. On January 25, Westmont Men's Basketball is welcoming all former players back to Murchison Gym for an alumni event, and this year, the club has plans to particularly honor the 1983-84 team.
 
Westmont's '83-84 team went 31-4, and reached the semifinals of the NAIA National Tournament. They also were unbeaten in 14 games inside Murchison Gym.
 
The day will begin with a 2:00 p.m. gathering outside of The Murch, where alumni can enjoy sandwiches supplied by Jersey Mikes while catching up with and meeting one another. At 3:00 p.m., alumni will be invited to come inside and cheer on the current Warrior squad as they battle the Chaminade Silverswords on Kammerer Court.
 
Following the conclusion of the contest, alumni will be invited to gather in the GLC Simmons Center, for a reception that will honor the 83-84 squad. Legendary Westmont Coach Chet Kammerer, along with his assistant, Randy Pfund, will be in attendance.
