"Individually, this semester was a valuable learning curve for what to expect heading into the spring season," said Westmont's head coach Leo Maes. "Stonebrae is not an easy course, and I'm proud of how we battled and worked our way through it."

Syndee Magpoc had rounds of 82, 75 and 79 to finished with 236 strokes and tied for 30th place. Hannah Camara posted rounds of 79, 80 and 78 to tie for 34th with 237 strokes.

Noelle Thompson, playing as an independent golfer, carded a 239 with rounds of 76, 79 and 84, finishing tied for 38th.

"We are very close to competing at a high level consistently," accessed Maes. "We'll take the lessons learned from this fall - there were many - and be ready to compete this upcoming spring.

"I'm proud of this fall semester as a whole. Off the golf course, the players continue to work hard academically and keep their faith first."

The women's golf team returns to competition on February 2 when they compete in the LA Spring Kickoff hosted by Cal State Los Angeles at the Rio Hondo Golf Club.
