(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Westmont Women's Tennis had an early start to their week on Monday morning when the Warriors played host to the Azusa Pacific Cougars in Santa Barbara. Unfortunately, Westmont left Monday's match still in search of their first win after falling to the Cougars 7-0.
 
APU won all six singles matches without dropping a single set, while in doubles, the Cougars took two out of three to get on the board. A positive for Westmont came on court two during doubles, where Lauren Gee and Sophia Ostovany won 6-1.
 
Westmont will return to action on Friday at 11:00 a.m., when the Warriors host the Biola Eagles. On Saturday, the Warriors will hit the road for the first time when they'll travel up the freeway to take on Fresno Pacific.
