"It was a solid team win," offered head coach
Chris Elwood. "The momentum really started when we captured the doubles point. I was really proud of the guys to do that against a strong Cal Lu team. We ended up winning all of those, after being a down a break at both one and three. To come back and win those showed some great resiliency from the guys.
Â
"That momentum clearly carried on into singles. Special shout out to Sid, who just got his first win at Westmont, and also to Val, who got his first win as well in a dual match. We'll be looking to carry this momentum into some training this week before our match against Concordia on Thursday."
