(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Westmont College Athletics announced on Thursday that Cade Pierson has resigned from her position as head coach of the Warriors' Women's Tennis program.

Pierson, who was a two-time NAIA All-American while attending Westmont, had served as head coach since the 2022-23 school year.

Pierson's resignation brings an end to her overall Westmont Tennis tenure that began as a student in 2017.

"We are grateful for Cade's many contributions to the Westmont Tennis program over the past several years," said Westmont's Director of Athletics, Robert Ruiz. "We wish her the best in her future endeavors.

"The Women's Tennis program at Westmont has a bright future, and we look forward to identifying the next leader who will mentor our student athletes and lead the program to excellence at the Division II level."

Westmont's search for a new head coach has already begun.
