Santa Barbara, Calif. — Riding high on momentum and belief, the Westmont women's volleyball team capped off a perfect three-win week at home on Friday night, sweeping Hawaii Pacific in straight sets (25–10, 25–18, 25–20) at Murchison Gymnasium.

The victory marks the third consecutive win for the Warriors (11-11, 8-6 PacWest), who extended their winning streak as part of their current six-match homestand.

"It's nice being at home—the difference was we got to sleep in our own beds and eat in our own dining commons," said Westmont Head Coach Ruth McGolpin. "The girls were mentally strong this whole week. Tuesday was about us being really good people, Wednesday was about playing as a team without an 'I' in team, and tonight was all about belief—and the belief that we could do this in three sets. That was our goal, to really get this one in three sets."

Westmont set the tone early in the opening set, hitting .342 as a team while holding the Sharks (4-16, 3-11 PacWest) to a -.022 clip to roll to a 25–10 victory. The Warriors kept up the pressure in set two, hitting a match-high .432 with 18 kills before closing out the sweep in the third.

Opposite hitter Audrey Hyde delivered a stellar performance, putting down a match-high 17 kills on a sizzling .455 hitting percentage to go along with five digs and two service aces.

Setter Sierra McClure directed the offense with 29 assists, seven digs, and three kills, earning praise from her head coach.

"Sierra McClure actually played great—she did fantastic," McGolpin praised. "She was my favorite player to watch tonight. Audrey Hyde, our middles, and Ceanna O'Loughlin all had good games, and Ava Cotton came in and had some good kills down the stretch."

Ceanna O'Loughlin put down seven kills on a .375 hitting percentage, while middle hitter Jordan Weston led the net defense with six block assists alongside five kills. Camila Cornejo-Farmer added four kills (.400) and three block assists. Off the bench, Ava Cotton contributed three kills on four attempts (.750).

Defensively, libero Rylee Elias and defensive specialist Alyson Wurster anchored the backline, collecting 12 digs each. Overall, Westmont hit .330 as a team while holding HPU to .073.

"The girls are jellying and working really hard," McGolpin added. "They seem to be getting better every day and are humming right now at the right time at the end of the season."

Westmont continues its six-match homestand at Murchison Gymnasium next week, hosting Jessup on Wednesday,October 28, at 7:00 p.m., before celebrating Senior Day on Saturday, October 31, against Dominican at 7:00 p.m.
