Westmont College Athletics

Men's Soccer Coaching Records

The Westmont men’s soccer program has a long history of success. Since its beginning in 1965, Warrior teams have won 707 games. Westmont made 20 trips to the NAIA National Tournament, winning in 1972. In 2023, the Warriors won the NCCAA National Championship in the first year for head coach Morgan Cathey.

Westmont soccer is one of the only schools to boast two head coaches with over 200 victories and a third with over 100. Russ Carr took over the program in its infancy and produced 202 victories and a national title. Bob Fortosis then won 114 games in his eight seasons, and Dave Wolf tallied 362 wins between 1991 and 2022. Wolf ranks 12th in victories in the NAIA record book.
