Julian Ramon joins the Warriors for the 2018 season as an assistant coach. A 2017 graduate of Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho), Ramon played for the Warriors in 2015 and 2016, helping them win their 17th and 18th national championship.
As a junior at LCSC, Ramon hit .311 and rove in 14 runs in 38 games while posting a team-best .996 fielding percentage (228 putouts, 30 assists) as a catcher. Ramon graduated with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology with an emphais in health promotion, personal fitness and wellness coaching.
Ramon played at CSU Northridge as a freshman and Oxnard C.C. as a sophomore. At Oxnard, Ramon produced a .358 batting average with 28 RBIs and two home runs.
His high school ball was played at Oxnard H.S. where he hit .391 with 64 RBIs in four years of varsity baseball under head coach Alfred Tarazon.Â
