2025: Recipient of the Golden Eagle Award...Won three matches in singles play, against conference opponents Menlo, APU, and FPU...Won three doubles matches as well...Finalist for The Captain's WESPY.
2024: Appeared in 16 singles matches during his junior year...Won six singles matches, with all six coming at line five...Won five of six to open the season...In doubles played exclusively alongside Logan Thompson, where the two won 11 matches in 18 tries.
2023: Posted a singles record of 6-12...Went 3-4 in singles during GSAC play, playing his matches on court four...Played doubles alongside Benny Saito and Cody Ray Emery...Posted a doubles record of 4-13, going 2-4 in GSAC play.
2022: Won three singles matches, including two GSAC wins (Hope International, Saint Katherine)...Won four doubles matches, playing alongside Joseph Hemry, including two GSAC wins (OUAZ, Marymount).
High School Awards: 2021 Kansas State Tennis Doubles Runner-up with little brother, James Vander Ark, 2021 Team State Runner-Up, 2019 Kansas State Tennis Singles Champion, 2019 Team State Runner-Up, 2018 Kansas State Tennis Team Champion, 2018 Singles Kansas State Runner-Up. Played at #1 spot all four years. Ranked as high as #8 in USTA Missouri Valley Boys 18s.
Hobbies and Activities: Watching University of Michigan basketball and football games with my dad and brothers.
