Westmont College Athletics

Emmy Meyring

With a strong background as an NCAA Division II student-athlete and a proven track record in collegiate coaching, Emmy Meyring joins the Westmont Women’s Soccer coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season.

Meyring’s playing career began at the elite youth level in the ECNL before she competed for four years at Azusa Pacific University. A consistent contributor on the field, she earned all-conference and player of the week honors, and was named team captain during her senior season. She graduated with a bachelor of arts in liberal studies while gaining early coaching experience at the youth level.

Following her undergraduate studies, Meyring moved into collegiate coaching at Central Washington. She served as an assistant coach while earning her master of science in athletic administration, and was later appointed acting head coach for the 2021 season, gaining valuable experience in program leadership and player development.

Meyring returned to Azusa Pacific in 2022 as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, playing a central role in identifying and developing talent for her alma mater.  In 2023, she was named head coach of the Caltech Women’s Soccer program, where she led the Beavers to the best team finish in program history. Coaching at one of the nation’s top 10 academic institutions, Meyring guided the team to its first-ever win over Chapman and oversaw a season that produced the most goals scored in SCIAC play in program history, signaling a new competitive era for Caltech Women’s Soccer.

Now at Westmont, Meyring brings a strong foundation of leadership, recruiting insight, and tactical knowledge to the Warriors’ coaching staff as they prepare for continued success in the PacWest Conference.

Meyring holds a United States Soccer Federation “D” License and is on track to complete her “C” License by September. She also serves as a coach and scout for Olympic Development Program, where she has worked since July 2023 as a West Region and National Coach.
