Mario Felix joined the Warrior coaching staff the summer of 2017 after serving a year as the head coach for Bethel (Kan.) men's soccer. Felix is an alumnus of MidAmerican Nazarene University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He is currently pursuing a Maters in Athletic Administration from the American Public University.
"I am very excited to bring my family into such a close knit community," said Felix. "The faith-based identity, athletic reputation and proximity to home (Oxnard) sold me on moving to Westmont. Westmont Soccer has a rich tradition on the pitch; they are known throughout the NAIA. I love knowing I get to be apart of that history, as well as adding to the establish powerhouse that is Westmont."
In addition to his coaching at Bethel, Felix will draw upon his experience as an women's soccer assistant coach at Colorado Christian and MidAmerica Nazarene. He was also the director of operations for women's soccer at the University of Kansas and served as an assistant coach and director of operations for the Kansas City Courage of the Women's Soccer Premier League
Felix also has a rich history of working with club sports, having coached with Kansas ODP and the Kansas Rush in Wichita, the Colorado Rush, the Sporting Kaw Valley Soccer club and the Kansas City Legends.

Felix and his wife Autumn have two children - Amos (4) and Adele (2).
