Brooklynn started swimming at six years old and continued through her first year of college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She swam the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 100 Backstroke for the Division 1 program and competed at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation championship.
After her first season at Cal Poly, Brooklynn transferred to Westmont to finish her kinesiology degree. Brooklynn currently works as a personal trainer (CSCS) and strength coach in Santa Barbara and will be helping out with the strength and conditioning component of the program.
"It has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl to see Westmont have a swim team," said Jervis. "I’m excited to work alongside coach Jill to build the strength of the Women’s Swim Team, in the gym, in the pool, and in their chemistry as a team. Westmont is a unique and amazing place where community, faith, academics, and athletics can all intersect and I’m thrilled to get to stand alongside these young women in their journey as female athletes."
