Laura Galloway accepted the position of Assistant Coach for Westmont College Volleyball in the fall of 2022. Laura has been a part of the Westmont Volleyball program in various capacities for a number of years having previously played on the Westmont team (Laura Hays '96).
During her time at Westmont, she was team captain and won various awards, including MVP, Most Improved, and Coaches Award as an outside hitter. She has also been a guest speaker, guest coach, and team mom during the time that her daughter, Hali Galloway ('21) competed on the Westmont team.
Laura has served as both an assistant and head volleyball coach for over 12 seasons. During her coaching tenure, she has helped lead a team to the San Diego CIF Finals, a Division Championship, and several League championships. Laura's experience of coaching young women with a Christ-centered approach while ensuring high caliber play aligns with the Westmont Volleyball legacy.
Additionally, Laura obtained her PhD in Organizational Systems and Human Development and is an Associate Dean for the University of Massachussets Global's School of Business. She and her husband, Keith, have been married for almost 25 years. Their daughter Hali played volleyball at Westmont and beach volleyball at the University of Hawaii, and their daughter Emma is at Vanguard University, also playing beach volleyball.
