Ahead of the 2022 season, Head Coach Ruth McGolpin has announced the hiring of Taylor Racich as a volunteer assistant coach for the Westmont Volleyball team.
Racich played collegiately as NCAA Div. I Pepperdine, where she earned All-American honors in 2016, the same year she earned a B.A. in Sports Administration. Since then, Racich has stayed active in the volleyball community, and continued to grow her educational resume.
In 2017, Racich earned her M.A. in Conflict Management from Lipscomb University, and in 2020, she earned an M.S. in Business with Entrepreneurship Commendation from Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK.
As far as volleyball goes, stops along the way have included her coaching on the LA Beach Volleyball Club staff, and playing professionally for P1440 in Hermosa Beach. For P1440, Racich trained and competed under Olympic Gold Medalist, Kerri Walsh.
In joining the Warriors' coaching staff, Racich also returns to her hometown of Santa Barbara where she, like McGolpin, starred for the Dos Pueblos Chargers.
