Â
The Life Pacific led much of the first quarter and by as much as five points (22-17) four minutes into the second. However, #4 Westmont rallied with an 18-3 run to end the first half and take a 10-point advantage (35-25) into the locker room at halftime. In the second half, Westmont was able to put some distance between the two Warrior teams.
Â
"It was a really gutsy effort by our team today, led again by
Maud Ranger with 16 rebounds and 14 points", reported Moore. "Iyree, on the offensive end, was really phenomenal – making right reads, creating for her teammates, finishing both inside and out."
Â
Jarrett led all scorers with 24 points, connecting on five of 10 from long distance. Jarrett and Ranger contributed four assists each as well.
Â
Gabriella Stoll added 10 points to the Warriors' effort while
