Lauren Tsuneishi connected on six of eight 3-point attempts in the first half to help #3 Westmont Women's Basketball (3-1, 2-0 GSAC) defeat Hope International by a score of 95-57. Tsuneishi tallied 23 points and pulled down five rebounds.

Iyree Jarrett added 16 points, six rebounds and five assists.
Krissy Miyahara and
Gabriella Stoll each scored 11 points.

The Warriors, who never trailed in the game, jumped out to a 10-2 in the opening frame and were ahead 24-8 by the end of the first quarter.

"We had an amazing first half, with a 51-25 halftime score." said Westmont head coach
Kirsten Moore. "We came out strong and dominant. Iyree attacking and orchestrating the offense and Lauren absolutely on fire. She was amazing."

All 10 players who took the court for Westmont scored and all 10 produced at least two rebounds. In addition, seven Warrior recorded at least one assist.

The Warriors' 45-22 rebound advantage led to 23 second-chance points.

The two teams will meet again tomorrow afternoon in Fullerton for the final game of the series.
