(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) Both Westmont's Men's and Women's Tennis teams were back in action on Thursday afternoon, with a win coming at home and a loss coming on the road.

Westmont's women hosted College of Idaho in Santa Barbara on Thursday, with the Warriors beating the Yotes 5-2 in come-from-behind fashion. The Yotes got on the board first in doubles, when the road team defeated
Sophia Ostovany and
Logan Jackson 7-6 (6) in a tiebreaker.

Westmont rebounded in grand style, however, turning the page to take five of six singles matches for the win. On one,
Francesca Aguirre defeated Lauren Kreutzer 6-2, 6-1, on
Sophia Ostovany bested Nicole Tran 6-3, 6-4, and on four,
Justie Spitzer defeated Brooke McNeel 6-0, 6-0.

Westmont capped off the win on five and six, where
Liska Knight defeated Anna Willcuts 6-3, 6-0, and Jackson defeated Elizabeth Sagehorn 6-1, 6-1. The Warriors, who have now won two of their last three, will next compete on Friday against Azusa Pacific.

For the men, the Warriors made their own trip to visit the Cougars on Thursday, where APU defeated Westmont 6-1. Westmont's lone win came on four, where
Goor Adiv defeated Brady Bohren 4-6, 7-6 (5), 10-5.

Westmont's men will return to play on Friday morning in Irvine, when they take on Concordia.
