Westmont College Athletics

Since 2022, Jelani Hicks has been part of Landon Boucher's Men's Basketball coaching staff. Hicks, who has been coaching in several capacities since 2009, comes to Westmont most recently via San Marcos High School, where he coached the varsity boy's basketball team from 2017-2021. Since 2012, Hicks has also ran Dream Chaser Basketball, a girl's basketball club team he founded himself.

Hicks played locally at both Dos Pueblos and Laguna Blanca, before evenutally playing at Missouri Valley, where he eanred his Bachelor's in Businiess Management in 2012.
