Sebastian Castellanos

A former NCAA Division II student-athlete and a rising coach in collegiate and youth soccer, Sebastian Castellanos joins the Westmont Warriors Men’s Soccer coaching staff ahead of the 2025 PacWest season.

Castellanos competed at the NCAA Division II level for Cal State Los Angeles, Stanislaus State, and CSU San Bernardino. During his collegiate playing career, he was part of multiple championship-winning teams, including the 2018 CCAA Tournament champions, the 2019 CCAA Regular Season champions, the 2019 NCAA Division II Super Region 4 champions, and the 2019 NCAA Division II National Runner-Up.

He began his coaching career in 2018 while still playing in college and has since developed a strong resume at the elite youth level. His previous coaching roles include stints at Autobahn SC, Albion SC Merced, and Legends FC. Castellanos currently coaches at Santa Barbara SC, a premier youth club competing in MLS Next, the top level of youth soccer in the United States.

Before joining Westmont, Castellanos served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, CSU San Bernardino, where he contributed to recruiting efforts, training design, and match preparation, helping to elevate the program’s competitive standard.

Castellanos holds a United States Soccer Federation “C” License. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Stanislaus State and is currently completing his Master of Business Administration at CSU San Bernardino.
