Biography

2020: Named to All-GSAC Team for the first time in his career...The team captain appeared and started in all 10 games...Second on the club in total minutes played with 777...Recorded 2 assists, both against Bethesda on 3/11/21, one to Tyler Young and another to Braeden Pryor...One of two "Elite Captains" as worded by Dave Wolf...Wolf said the biggest decision of the season was the choice by the coaching staff to have Ruiz play center back...With Ruiz leading the back line, the club allowed only 6 goals all season.

2019: Appeared in 16 games and made 11 starts... Recorded the game-winning assist against Menlo in overtime... Played 945 minutes... Earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.

2018: Appeared in seven games and made one start... Scored a goal against San Diego Christian... Tallied 261 minutes.

2017: Played in two games as a freshman.
