After playing two years for the Warriors and graduating in 2012, Lisa Peterson took her basketball talents overseas and played professionally for one year with the Quakenbruck Dragons of the German Basketball Divison II League. Peterson returned to the Warriors in the fall of 2013 and began serving as an assistant coach.

"I mostly work with the post and practice with them," said Peterson. "I try to challenge them on the court."

While playing at Westmont, Peterson earned All-Golden State Athletic Conference honors. She averaged 11.3 points and 6.0 rebounds and had a career field goal percentage of .526. Before transfering to Westmont, Peterson played two years at UC Davis.

"It’s nice to be part of the Westmont community again" said Peterson. "Its great to see faculty who taught me and helped me as a student. Now, I have a way to give back and help enrich peoples’ lives."

In addition to her role with the team. Peterson works for Summit Surgery Center as an orderly and helps assist in pain management. Her ambition is to return to school and become a physician’s assistant.
