Biography

2021: Capped off her well-decorated Westmont career by being named ITA Senior Player of the Year, and an NAIA Second Team All-American for the second time...Also named to the All-GSAC Team for the fourth time in her career...Only the eighth player in Westmont Women's tennis history to receive All-American honors on multiple occasions, and the first since 2016...Played all singles matches on court one and went 8-4 (5-2 GSAC) in singles play...Finished the season winning four of her last five completed matches...In doubles play, primarily with Rachal Jackson, Pierson carried a record of 8-6...The final win of Pierson's Westmont career came in doubles play again ACU in the GSAC Tournament Quarterfinals, when Jackson and Pierson helped propel the Warriors to the GSAC Semifinal with a 6-1 victory.

2020: Named an ITA NAIA All-American in singles for the second-straight year... Earned ITA NAIA West Region Senior Player of the Year honors... Went 8-2 overall (3-0 GSAC) at number one singles, the best record on the team... Also held the best doubles record (6-7 overall, 4-1 GSAC) on the team, including 5-4 at number one... Won two singles matches against NCAA Division I opposition... Only two singles losses of the season came against an NCAA DI opponent and the #15 nationally-ranked NCAA DII player... Went on a seven-match singles winning streak from 1/25 - 2/21... Named GSAC Women's Tennis Player of the Month for February, becoming the only Warrior ever to earn the monthly GSAC honor multiple times in a career... Finished the shortened 2020 season ranked fifth nationally in singles and second in the west region in the final Oracle/ITA NAIA Rankings... Also was ranked 11th nationally and second in the west region in doubles... Honored with the ITA NAIA Arthur Ashe Leadership & Sportsmanship Award, the first Warrior ever to receive the honor... Received the GSAC Cliff Hamlow Champion of Character Award... Golden Eagle Award recipient and team captain for the second-straight year... Reached the semifinals of the ITA NAIA Regional in both singles and doubles, as well as the quarterfinals of the NAIA ITA Cup.

2019: Named an NAIA Second Team All-American... Earned All-GSAC honors for the third straight season... Named Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Women's Tennis Athlete of the Year... Selected as Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table Athlete of the Week on April 1... Named GSAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Month on April 4... Went 18-5 at number one singles and 11-1 in GSAC play... Finished the season with a 19-7 overall record in doubles with partner Taylor Cheung-Damonte, including 19-5 at number one doubles, and 10-2 in GSAC play... Had a 15-match singles winning streak and an 11-match doubles winning streak with Cheung-Damonte that ended in the Second Round of the NAIA National Tournament to eventual national champion Georgia Gwinnett... Honored as the 2019 Women's Tennis Golden Eagle Award recipient... Team captain.

2018: Earned All-GSAC honors for the second straight year... Finished with an 8-9 singles record as the number two... Finished with an 11-8 doubles record with partner Taylor Cheung-Damonte at number two.

2017: Earned All-GSAC honors...honored as the GSAC Newcomer of the Year...Posted a singles record of 11-8 playing at number two...Went 7-12 playing at number one doubles, with partner Isabel Lee.

Hobbies and Activities: Lifting, hiking, running, playing with my dog, shooting, trying new restaurants, exploring national parks.
