"I was very pleased with how both our numbers one and two doubles teams played – they really helped set the tone," reflected head coach Mark Basham. "Luke Whalen and Philipp Sibbel performed really well in singles and then Christian and J.T. (John T. Joens) each came back in their singles matches winning in 3 sets. Luke Barnard also played well winning in straight sets. Overall, this was a good win for us against a very solid team"

In doubles Aliaksandr Meliuk and Alessandro Moriano defeated Sibbel and Joens 8-5 playing at number one; Westmont's Mathis and Whalen conquered Jan-Erik Isermann and Joey River 8-2 playing at number two; and Leonardo Urquidi and Fabian Daniel defeated Austin Lee and Nightingale playing at number three.

"I couldn't be any happier with our Team's performance today," reflected Mark Basham. "We competed really well the entire day and I knew we would have to be incredibly resilient and mentally tough to win after being down 2-1 after doubles. It was a very long and rewarding day."

Coming up this Friday, the Warriors will travel south to play Azusa Pacific at 1:30 p.m.
